This morning Rachel and Helen have been pretending to hold baby birds in their hands. Then they each wanted to sing us a song that they had made up. When Rachel began singing, Helen informed me that her baby bird had put earplugs in because "he didn't like this song". When it was Helen's turn to sing she took out its earplugs!
Rachel's songs all began with: "I love my Grandpa, I really love my Grandpa", and she made the point of telling us that she meant both her Grandpas.
