Tonight was the last meet of David's first swim team season. Apart from his usual front crawl and front crawl relay races, he was entered, for the first time, into a backstroke race and came in 1st place out of 6 boys! He has competed in 4 meets all together and has accumulated four 1st place ribbons, two 2nd place ribbons, one 3rd place ribbon and a 4th or 5th place (we will find out at the ribbons ceremony tomorrow morning).
He has thoroughly enjoyed swim team and I'm sure will be excited about doing it again next year. There is one more event this year that he will take part in: the championships, which will be swum at the GA Tech pool where the 1996 Olympic swimming events were held.
