Yesterday David took part in the North Atlanta Swim Association (NASA) championships. They were held downtown at Georgia Tech at the same pool in which the 1996 Olympic athletes swam. David swam in a 100 yard freestyle relay (4 boys doing 25 yards each), the 25 yard freestyle and the 25 yard backstroke. His relay team came 8th out of 16. In individual freestyle he came 43rd out of 122 and in backstroke he got disqualified, which was unfortunate because his time would have put him about 26th out of 101. Overall our neighbourhood team won 1st place in our division and 'best improved team', which earned us two very large trophies.
