Today the kids made banana bread all by themselves! I suggested they do it, got them one or two of the utensils, and Rob and I put it in and took it out of the oven, but other than that, we did not help. David read the recipe, found all the ingredients, measured them out, mixed them together, and even set the timer for the cooking time. Helen mashed the bananas and Rachel chopped the pecans. David had a piece after dinner and said it tastes better than when I make it!
