An up and down weekend:
UP - David rode his bike around the neighborhood with friends and, for the first time in nearly a year, it didn't hurt his knee.
DOWN - Helen, Avery and Rachel were playing with the plasma cars in the garage when Avery accidentally knocked into Rob's mountain bike that was hanging from the ceiling. The bike fell and hit Helen on the head, cutting her forehead open and causing LOTS of bleeding. Luckily it could be repaired with glue and didn't have to have stitches.
UP - Rob and I went out to the cinema on Sunday afternoon, leaving the kids at home. It was the first time I've had Coke and popcorn for ages.
DOWN - Rachel tells us at 8:30 PM that she has homework due tomorrow.
