Last week David took a standardised reading test. The test involved reading 25 sentences, each with a missing word, and filling in the blanks with a word selected from a list. The children were not allowed any help and they had a limited time to answer each question.
According to the results we got today, David: "reads at a level greater than 99% of other students nationally in the same grade" and "reads at a level equal to that of a typical fourth grader (age 10 or 11) after the ninth month of the school year".
We are feeling proud!
