At dinner this evening Rachel started acting up: crawling around on the bench and not sitting properly at her plate. Rob began by telling her to sit properly and eat her dinner. "No!" Rachel replied (pulling a face). The following ensued:

Rob: "You'll have to eat your dinner outside if you can't remember your manners"
Rachel: "No!"
Rob (with hand on the back door handle): "Shall I put you outside and put your plate outside?"
(Rachel sits properly and settles down)
Rob: "Well you remember your manners then!"
Rachel: "Please, No!"

Amid my sniggers I said "That has to go in the blog". Rob replied: "We'll you'd better enter it because I'm too ashamed." Rachel piped up: "He is you know".....Lots of laughter.
