Today David had a couple of monster tantrums. Both began over something very little but involved a lot of screaming and crying. Under the circumstances (only a few hours sleep after a late-night party last night) I feel that Rob and I did well to remain calm but firm. I sincerely hope that these were the result of being tired after his first week at school. I also hope that we have done the right thing to discourage this kind of behaviour.
