Day 5
Rob extended our checkout time to 6:00 p.m. so we wouldn't be rushing around.
Late morning we went to Stonebriar Mall to get smoothies. We met the Oestreichs and made arrangements for them to come to our hotel to swim. Also we bumped into the Huques who told us it was Salma's 13th birthday today and invited us to join them (and most of the other Atlanta families) for a birthday dinner at The Cheesecake Factory after the racing.
Back at the hotel Rob and the kids went to swim with the Oestreichs while I packed the bags and had a short nap.
This time we were back at the velodrome before 6:00 p.m. so David had plenty of time to warm up properly. Even so, he came 10th in his 2 km scratch race.
We all met at The Cheesecake Factory at about 9:15 p.m.
At 11:40 p.m., and after a cup of coffee, we left Frisco for Colorado, with me driving.
